On 4 June 2009, the Minister of Small and Medium Sized Companies, Commerce, Handicrafts and the Professions distinguished James Ebénistes “as a firm possessing an economic heritage, composed in particular, of a rare and well-known expertise, based on a mastery of traditional techniques and advanced technical skills”.  The “Living Heritage Firm” labels form a network of excellence at the service of “Made in France”.
 
Traditionally based in the hotel sector, as well as that of interior decoration for privileged clients, the firm has continued its ascension towards luxury activities, such as fitting out motor yachts and prestigious boutiques.
